Baoyi Wang, born in October 30, 1962, PhD Univ. Lanzhou Univ (1997). Areas of Research:Nuclear analysis technique & application in material science Achievement and Experience:
Main research field: Years of experience in methodology research and application of nuclear analytic techniques for the characterization of defects in metals and alloys. Completion of 2 large equipment special projects of Chinese Academy of Sciences and 4 projects (including one key project) of Chinese Natural Science Foundation. Over 80 co-authored papers published in academic journals. Presided over the completion of the domestic first set of "positron annihilation lifetime measurement system based on slow positron beamline", as well as the "animal SPECT/CT system" with performance of international advanced level.
Current research mainly focuses on the application of positron annihilation techniques for the configuration of defects in structural materials of nuclear reactor and the development of dynamic image systems for radiation detection.
