Jianping Dai, born in 1968, Ph.D. in 1997 from University of Science and Technology of China. Post-doc in IHEP from 1997 to 1999. Staff member in Shanghai National Synchrotron Radiation Center from 1999 to 2002. Associate professor and group leader of Beijing Free Electron Laser Laboratory in IHEP during 2002-2007. In charge of the physical design of the SSRF 300MeV Linac, and development of the bunching system of the Linac. Responsible for the operation, upgrade and application research of BFEL facility. Manager of the R&D of XFEL technologies at IHEP, and the project application and CSR work of China XFEL Test Facility. In charge of the development of RF cavities for China ADS project. Member of the editorial board of Chinese Physics C, and a Series Journal of the Chinese Physical Society. Scientific Program Committee member of the annual Free Electron Laser International Conference. Published nearly 40 papers on a variety of academic journals and conferences.
