AbstractA new x-ray imaging technique, diffraction-enhanced imaging, has been recently developed in Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility( BSRF). Diffraction-enhanced imaging is a radiographic technique that derives contrast from an object's absorption, refraction gradient and small-angle scatter properties (extinction). This imaging method may improve image quality for medical applications, industrial radiography for non-destructive testing and x-ray computed tomography.
