摘要 | A new catalyst for synthesis of higher alcohols was developed in our laboratory using Ni-modified Cu/Mn/ZrO2 catalyst. The effect of calcination temperature on the catalytic performance and the structure of the catalyst was investigated. Both the reaction activity and the selectivity for higher alcohols on Cu/Mn/Ni/ZrO2 catalyst were greatly influenced by the calcination. The catalyst calcined at lower temperatures showed high activity for the synthesis reaction. In this case, the product distribution obeyed the S-F equation at low reaction temperatures while changed to iso-butanol at higher reaction temperatures. For the catalyst calcined at higher temperatures, the activity was low, but the C2+ OH in the product was mainly iso-butanol even at low reaction temperatures. Copper could be well dispersed at lower calcination temperatures, then sintered with the calcination temperature increasing. This was clarified by using XRD, BET, TPR and EXAFS techniques. Thus the interaction between the components in Cu/Mn/Ni/ZrO2 catalyst changed, which resulted in its different catalytic performance. |
