摘要 | In the ARUP spectra for CO adsorbed on the K/Ru(10 (1) over bar 0) surface two peaks are observed respectively at 7.8 eV and 11.2eV binding energies. The peak 11.2 eV BE represents the CO - 4a(1) (5 sigma), which is forbidden under s-polarized light. According to the selection rule, the result supports the sp(2)-rehybridized model under the strong influence of coadsorbed K atoms on Ru(10 (1) over bar 0) surface and shows the CO bridge adsorption at < 1 (2) over bar 10 > azimuth. |
