摘要The luminescent properties of eulytite structural ternary orthophosphates Ba3Gd(PO4)(3):Ln(3+) (Ln(3+) =Ce3+, Pr3+, Tb3+), Ba3Ce(PO4)(3), Ba3Gd(PO4)(3) and Ba3Tb(PO4)(3) under UV and synchrotron radiation VUV excitation were investigated. The host related absorption and the f-d transitions of Ln(3+) ions in the host lattices are identified. An empirical expression on the lowest f-d transition energies and n values for 4F(n)-series Ln(3+) ions in the host lattices is suggested. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
