摘要A GEANT4-based full Monte-Carlo model is developed to simulate the performance of the endcap time-of-flight (TOF) system of the BESIII detector with high accuracy and sufficient speed. Experimental data of e(+)e(-) collisions collected at BESIII are used to test this model, which can also be applied to other cases for precisely simulating optical photons propagating in scintillators with an irregular geometry.
